When a storm tears through Bethel and shingles start peeling off the roofline, you need a crew that picks up the phone and shows up — not a call center that puts you on hold.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Bethel, VT before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
We carry full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and every lead installer holds current state licensing, so a claim adjuster, a home inspector, or your own insurance carrier can verify our credentials without a single awkward phone call.
Roofing is a trade where shortcuts hide for a year or two and then fail at the worst possible moment, usually during the next hard rain. We build every Commercial Roofing job — big or small — the same way, whether it's a single shingle repair or a full tear-off.
Every lead technician carries current state credentials before stepping on a ladder.
Emergency lines stay staffed through nights, weekends, and holidays.
No surprise charges once the crew is already on your roof.
Technicians dispatched from within Bethel, VT, not flown in from another region.
Most roof failures don't happen overnight — they build quietly for months before a homeowner notices the ceiling stain that finally forces the issue.
If your downspout discharge looks like sand, the UV-protective coating on your shingles is breaking down faster than it should.
Cupped shingles trap moisture underneath instead of shedding it, accelerating rot in the decking below.
Small gaps that let light in will let water in during the next heavy rain.
Sagging drywall or a soft spot underfoot in the attic usually points to sustained moisture damage, not a one-time drip.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
Missing shingles expose the underlayment, which is only designed as a temporary secondary barrier, not a long-term surface.
Whether it's a single emergency tarp or a full system replacement, each service below is handled by technicians who specialize in that exact scope of work.
Active leaks after a storm get a same-day response whenever it's physically possible — a temporary tarp-down first, a permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
Every residential estimate walks the homeowner through material options, from standard architectural shingles to impact-rated upgrades.
We schedule commercial jobs around business hours whenever possible, minimizing disruption to tenants, staff, or foot traffic.
Old, layered shingle systems often need a full tear-off rather than an overlay, and we'll tell you honestly which one your roof actually needs.
A thorough inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule loss — the small issues that turn into major leaks if left alone.
If a roof has an unusual pitch, an older material system, or a custom architectural feature, our senior crews handle the scoping personally.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in Bethel, VT.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
Financing and insurance-claim assistance are discussed at this stage if applicable.
A final walkthrough confirms the repair or install meets the agreed scope before the invoice is closed out.
Response windows are communicated upfront, not left as a vague "sometime this week."
Flat-rate pricing means the quote you approve is the quote you pay, barring a scope change we'll flag with you first.
Certifications are kept current so warranty coverage on materials stays valid when we install them.
Every repair and install comes with a workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
Storm-damage jobs come with photo documentation formatted for insurance adjusters, saving homeowners a step in the claims process.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every Commercial Roofing project closes with a written warranty covering our labor, separate from whatever coverage the shingle or membrane manufacturer already provides.
We also guarantee the estimate itself: barring a scope change you approve in writing, the number on your written quote is the number on your final invoice.
Our Bethel coverage area extends across Bethel, VT, and if your address falls just outside the standard zone, dispatch can usually still arrange a visit.
Dispatch routes are planned around Bethel's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
